As communities face multiple intersecting issues, we must authentically engage with them to configure systems that generate long-term solutions and support the well-being of families and communities. Building trust and meaningful opportunities for partnership is critical to developing those solutions and crafting a human services system of the future–one that is centered and driven by families and communities driven and centered. Join our panel of experts to learn how they leverage community through leadership, direct connection, and research to remove barriers to well-being while charting a way forward for tomorrow.

Intersectional Professionals: A New Vision for the Human Services Workforce
Attendees will be introduced to the concept of “Intersectional Professionals” – people with lived experience of the systems they work in. The panel, comprised of Intersectional Professionals, will allow you to learn about their experiences, including where they have succeeded and hit roadblocks in their workplaces. You will hear about the unique contributions Intersectional Professionals make in human services, including direct service, policy, and systems change. You will come away with an understanding of their unique strengths and needs and will get perspectives on how to recruit, retain, and advance these professionals into leadership positions:
